What I wanted to paint in this series is not only beautiful flowers, but also I wanted to paint about the contrast of light and shadow through this series. This cintrast gave me very happiness and impressions.
It is first time that I painted flower officially.(I painted very few flowers just for the background of my painting. Especially for portrait of jazz musicians or so. But for main subject, this series is the first paintings of flowers for me.
Someone talked to me, it is funny. Because many woman painter starts to paint from flower beause of their beauty. I do not know the reason why I didn't paint flower till now. It is strange for me, too.
After I finished the first painting of this series, I admired "how flowers are beautiful". And "I may continue this series little bit more longer".
But just what I'd like to say to you is that "please enjoy these beautiful flowers for awhile".
